What to expect

Before your appointment

‍ ‍For all color services:

For best results, please arrive with hair that is only a few days unwashed. If your hair has heavy oil buildup, excessive product, or is wet/sweaty from a workout, please wash and fully dry at minimum the night before your appointment. We do not recommend same day washing. Excess oil or moisture can affect how the color processes and adheres to the hair. If you have any questions about how to prepare your hair, please feel free to email us prior to your appointment.

Clothing & Jewelry:

Please avoid wearing clothing or accessories you would be concerned about getting color or water on, and kindly remove valuable jewelry before your service. While we do our best to protect our clients with capes and draping, hair color is a creative process and occasional splashes or staining can happen. This helps us avoid any damage to personal items during your appointment.

Arrival & Parking:

As we all know, LA traffic and parking can be unpredictable, so please allow yourself a little extra travel time before your appointment. I always do my best to stay on schedule for each guest, and arriving more than 10–15 minutes late can interfere with the timing of other appointments and may require adjusting or rescheduling your service.

Children or Pets:

We know childcare can be hard to find or change last minute so if you need to bring your child to your appointment, we do offer a seating area where they can be seated to keep them safe and to avoid any interference in our application areas. Babies are welcomed in a stroller and we can seat you at a corner station to accommodate space. For pets, we ask kindly to plan for their care outside the salon to help maintain a calm, safe, and focused environment for your appointment. If this is not feasible we do have an amazing pet facility around the corner called “The Den” that has happily extended their services to our clients for their pets to get groomed as well, and or offer daycare services while you are at the salon. Please inquiry via email for more info (Vaccines required for their pet services)

Payment & Policies:

For a smooth checkout, please have your preferred method of payment ready. If you’re new to the salon, reviewing our cancellation or late arrival policy ahead of time ensures no surprises.

During your appointment

Our Team Approach:

To create the most elevated and efficient experience possible, I work alongside a team of highly trained associates who help facilitate various parts of your service. Each member of my team has been personally trained and is fully trusted by me to uphold the quality and standards you expect. If you are not comfortable having an associate work hands-on during your appointment, please email me prior to your visit. We will need to adjust your appointment accordingly, which may require booking a dedicated one-on-one time slot and will be reflected in a different pricing structure.

Consultation Prep:

If you’re coming in for a new color, style, or treatment, please come prepared with any inspiration photos or ideas. This helps ensure we are aligned on your vision and can plan your service accordingly. The more information you share with us about your hair history, maintenance routine, and goals, the better we can tailor your service. We value honest communication to ensure expectations and results align.

Hair Health/Treatments/Scalp or Skin Sensitivities:

If your hair has been recently chemically treated (like a relaxer,keratin treatment,or previous box color), please let us know. This allows us to safely adjust products and techniques for the healthiest result. If you have a sensitive scalp, Skin Conditions, allergies, or have experienced reactions to hair products in the past, please inform us before your service. Your safety and comfort are our top priority.

Time Constraints & Schedule Changes:

If anything has suddenly changed in your schedule & you need to leave earlier than the originally quoted timeframe for your appointment, please let your stylist know as soon as you sit down in the chair. We will do our best to adjust your service to fit your updated timeline. While we will always try to accommodate your updated timing needs, last-minute adjustments also affect the stylist's pre booked schedule. To honor both your appointment and the time reserved for your service, certain finishing elements—such as styling, curls, or a blowout—may need to be skipped rather than reducing the service itself. The pricing for the originally booked service will remain unchanged, as the reserved appointment time and technical work are still being performed.

Many of our services are customized and performed in multiple stages to protect the integrity of your hair while achieving the best possible outcome. Your stylist will communicate throughout the appointment, and we encourage you to ask questions at any point.
